Do I have to book 6 people? What if I have more than 6 people? We only book private charters at this time. You are welcome to bring up to 6 people per boat. If you have more than 6 people, consider booking two boats for a total of 12 people. We will run alongside one another and anchor together if possible.
-
Can I buy drinks on the boat? The boats are BYOB! We provide water, ice, cups and soft drinks on board. We do not provide alcohol. From breakfast pastries and juice to a case of beer and a bag of chips, it all works for us!
-
Can I bring a cooler? You are welcome to bring a cooler and we will have a 100 quart cooler on the boat. We ask that parties limit coolers to one large cooler per party to avoid crowding of the deck. (That's for dancing!)
-
Can we bring food?Absolutely! You are welcome to bring anything on board except bananas. We work with South County Cafe to provide options for catering if you prefer. Give us a call to discuss.
-
Can kids come?Yes, we love family trips! Anyone under age 12 will be required to wear a life jacket. We have kids life jackets available for your use but please let us know in the comments so we make sure we have the right size available.
-
Can I smoke on the tiki?Tiki + gasoline + Open Flame = no good! Sorry but our vessels are smoke free.
-
Can I bring my music? We have a great bluetooth stereo system on the boat. Just ask your captain for help pairing when you are ready. If you didn't have time to put together a playlist, we can provide music as well.
-
Can we make stops along the way? Where do we go?Of course! We can stop at any of the local establishments on the creek. We have the Boathouse, Happy Harbor, Cappy's, Skipper's Pier & Dockside. We can also stop out at the "flats" of Herring Bay if you want to jump off and swim for a bit. (Weather pending)
-
Can we pick up or return to a different location? All parties must pick up and return at Hidden Harbour Marina.
-
What if it rains?A little rain never stopped this party. A lot of rain will. If the forecast looks poor, we will contact you to reschedule. We will try our hardest to always reschedule that day or work with your schedule. In the event that you choose to change due to weather but without us cancelling, the cancellation policy takes effect.
-
What is the cancellation policy? Why would you want to cancel the fun? We want you to take your trip but we understand that sometimes things happen. More than 7 days notice - Full Refund Between 7 days - 48 hours - Refund minus $50 Cancellation fee. Between 48-24 hours- Credit issued to Tiki Account minus $50 Less that 24 hours or no show - no refund or reschedule. We always try to be flexible but we must collect the $50 fee to pay the captains if they have been hired for that trip. They clear their schedules so we feel it is only fair to them. We reserve the right to cancel any tour at any time due to weather, safety, mechanical or behavioral issues. If your tour is canceled, you will be given a rain check to re-book at another time (this excludes behavioral, along with alcohol related cancellations - these circumstances will not be rescheduled or refunded).
-
What about restrooms? Our boats are not equiped with restrooms. We strongly encourage you to plan accordingly. We can always make a stop if needed or run back to the dock quickly.
-
How much do I tip my captain? Our captains do work for tips so gratuity is greatly appreciated. We suggest a 20% or greater tip to our captains. They are very experienced, knowledgable, and work hard to ensure your safety and to provide an amazing tiki experience to our guests.
